About this Life in the UK · Mock Exam 9 mock exam

This page serves Life in the UK · Mock Exam 9 as a timed mock exam. The questions are original practice questions written for Solvi to the official handbook, Life in the United Kingdom: A Guide for New Residents (3rd edition). They are not official test questions, the Home Office does not publish the real questions, and Solvi is not affiliated with the Home Office. Every question has four options and one correct answer, and review shows an explanation plus the handbook chapter and section the question was written from.

The real Life in the UK test gives you 45 minutes for 24 questions and the pass mark is 18 of 24, which is 75 percent. This mock keeps exactly those conditions: 24 questions, a 45 minute clock, and the same pass mark, so a pass here is scored the way the real test scores it, even though the questions themselves are practice questions, not the real paper. One format note: the real test also includes a question type where you select two correct answers. This practice set does not cover that type yet; every question here has a single correct answer.
