Affiliate disclosure

Solvi Quilting is free to use. Some of the shop links in the calculators, the project planner, and the shopping lists are affiliate links. If you buy through one of them, Solvi may earn a commission on the sale. The price you pay is the same whether you use the link or go to the shop directly.

The programs

The section takes part in three affiliate programs: Connecting Threads (through ShareASale), Fat Quarter Shop (through Awin), and the Amazon Associates program. As an Amazon Associate, Solvi earns from qualifying purchases. Links are marked as sponsored and carry the rel attributes search engines require for paid placements.

The rule that matters

Quantities on this site are calculated from your measurements, and they are never adjusted to sell more fabric. The math is published on every calculator page, in words, with a worked example you can check by hand. If a calculation ever looks padded, the formula is right there to argue with. Affiliate income follows from quilters finding the numbers trustworthy, so inflating them would be bad business as well as wrong.

What the lists do not do

Shopping lists name generic descriptions only: a fabric role, a width, a quantity. They carry no product SKUs and no displayed prices, because a price printed here would be stale by the time you read it and a SKU would tie a calculation to the stock of one shop. You choose the actual fabric at whichever shop you prefer.

Questions

If anything about a link or a quantity is unclear, email studysolvi@gmail.com and mention the quilting tools so the message lands with the right context.
